Senior IT Technician - St John's School, Leatherhead, Surrey

Prorated salary range is from £33,970 to £38,290 per annum, depending on experience, which includes an annual pay review on 1 September each year.

The School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and committed individual to join our forward thinking and motivated IT Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining IT infrastructure, providing support for IT systems and supporting the day-to-day IT operations. Responsibilities will include responding to IT support requests in accordance with the helpdesk procedures and priorities, delivering a high quality service to all users and working with the IT Network Manager to implement new projects and developments.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills as well as motivation and initiative. A recognised academic qualification or experience appropriate to the role is essential, as is the ability to deliver a high level of customer service. Previous experience working within the education sector is desirable but not essential.
