Vista roaming profiles have a .V2 extention so i presume mandatory ones work the same, so you could have Administrator and Administrator.V2 . So i presume if there are 2 Vista would look for the mandatory profile with the .V2 at the end.

How do you do your mandatory profiles? Default User in the Netlogon share?

If so i'm guessing a

Default User and a Default User.V2 in the netlogon share would solve it.

Thanks Maniac - need this myself as I'll be working in a mixed XP/Vista environment, as well as a TS environement with Windows 2003 - cant use 2008 due to issues with Linux Thin Clients and RDP 6.1! Edited by Gatt
