BrySue Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 Hi, I don't know if this is even possible but thought it was worth the question! I have rewritten the timetable for our school (secondary school) to start at the end of this month, and need to assign certain students to certain classes in SIMs. I'm aware of the 'Group Memberships by Scheme' tool, however is there a faster way than going through all 150 students in a yeargroup ticking the relevant box? I there an option to import this data from a spreadsheet as you would do for importing assessment info? If so which option should I use for this? Thanks in advance, bit of a novice to SIMs and still trying to pick up as I go along!
bobsmith Posted May 10, 2024 Posted May 10, 2024 You can indeed do this super quickly. You want to output the group memberships as SLK files, these can be editted in Excel by just moving the "T" left and right. You can import them and actually set the date when you do to schedule the changes for the future.
