Google Chrome caching issue

Hi All,

 

Just wondered if you have come across Google Chrome caching issues before.

 

Have a school whose finance logs into the school website to edit pages etc. Once they are logged in via Google Chrome to the website to edit pages, the pages are blank. However, using new incognito window or other browsers works fine. Clearing the cache does not resolve the issue if they use the original Google Chrome page instead of new incognito window. They have the latest version of Chrome installed.

 

Just wondered if anyone had come across these type of caching issues in Chrome and how they resolved it.

What sort of website is it (e.g. Wordpress etc). Perhaps there is some sort of caching plugin installed which might affect things. Try clearing that, if so.

The issue is still outstanding. Oddly, it happens in Chrome, Edge, Brave, every browser, even after clearing cache.

 

Also, when logging into the school website with any browser it keeps saying that the logged in user "is currently using 1 other browser. Be aware: multiple users editing the same page can result in changes being lost"

 

This is even when the user has logged out of all browsers.

 

Very odd
