M365: AzureADJoined Devices Vs Windows Auto Enrollment

I notice that some of the devices on my M365 tenancy are showing as Windows Azure AD Join under Device Enrollment Type whilst others show as Windows Auto Enrollment.

 

Is there any way to convert them all to Windows Azure AD Join as I am assuming this would be for devices which are on Autopilot.

I would like to ensure all devices are fully controlled so that if they are wiped, they can't be used unless an M365 admin signs into them to prevent against any thefts.

 

This is all a little new to me, so I would appreciate any assistance.

I pulled the info on PS using the following command:

Get-IntuneManagedDevice | fl devicename, Operatingsystem, OSversion, Model, Deviceenrollmenttype
