SENIOR ICT TECHNICIAN

 

37 hours per week – all year round - permanent

 

Grade 8, Points 15-18. Salary: £26,427 – £28,776

 

Commencing as soon as possible

 

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and pro-active Senior ICT Technician to work with staff, students and extended service users to deliver an outstanding IT support experience across the college.

 

As part of the LiFE Multi-Academy Trust’s wider IT Team, the post holder will also support other LiFE MAT schools.

 

The successful candidate will possess the relevant knowledge, ability and experience to resolve a spectrum of first/second line issues, ranging from desktop PCs, laptops, iPads, network switches, Wi-Fi networks, server hardware & software and firewalls. You must be approachable; adept at managing competing priorities; well organised; able to work under pressure and independently, referring more complex issues to the IT Systems Manager as and when required.

 

This post is an ideal opportunity for someone who has been working within an ICT support role who wishes to advance their career.
