This is a key role for our member schools and the academy trust as a whole. The Digital Services department supports over 3000 students and 350 staff by providing a wide range of provision and support services across to enhance the delivery of learning and to support our operations.

Sussex Learning Trust currently consists of 5 schools - Warden Park Secondary Academy, Warden Park Primary Academy, Northlands Wood Primary Academy and Woodgate Primary Academy in Mid-Sussex and Chichester Free School in South West Sussex. We expect the Trust to continue to grow in 2024 and beyond based on our continued high quality work in Sussex.

All of our academies have fully articulated digital strategies and these are led by our central Digital Services team operating from Warden Park Secondary in collaboration with our school leaders and Digital Champions. Warden Park is an Apple Distinguished school and has an extensive deployment of Google for Education across all our schools.

The Digital Services department consists of a team of 10 staff who lead IT infrastructure services, device management, wifi management, and other business systems. We maintain 25 server installations, 700 PCs & laptops, 2000 ipads and several 100 Chromebooks across the trust.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, well-motivated and suitably qualified person who is positive, flexible and well-organised with a ‘can do’ approach; someone who is hardworking and pro-active, who can work to a programme of work but who can also use their own initiative, with a strong work ethic and time management skills. The ability to work effectively, calmly and often under time pressure is essential.

This post is based in Mid-Sussex and will focus on the 4 schools located there, but not exclusively so.
