TechiMCR Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 Anyone had any issues allowing tablets communicating with intune through the Smoothwall? Looks like intune needs google.com to be allowed to check in with intune to allow new policies/apps to be applied. The whole google domain cannot be unblocked for obvious reasons, is there a way around this?
TechMonkey Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 Google needed for Intune? I've never heard that one, but MS do some odd things on occasion. I would have thought some product manager would have caught that. Could it be that the tablet needs access to google.com to test connectivity? Otherwise there is an M365 category in Smoothwall that would be a good idea to set to bypass HTTPS inspection. There is also an Android Connectivity Checks category that may help if that is the issue. 1
