'ghost' group Policy still applying, even to new builds

Hi All,

 

I have an odd one -

 

When working on W11 I created a quick policy to test some windows defender settings; it all went great, and I deleted the test policy to create and push out the actual policy.

 

When the policy was deleted however, it seems to have not been deleted thoroughly and still tries to apply on startup for all domain machines (but only displays as the GUID)

 

 

It hangs for about 30 seconds then goes.

 

Here's the weird part, I cannot find it anywhere, not in SYSVOL, GP management, ASDI and it even replicates to new machines built after the deletion -

 

Using a GPRESULT shows it in Components, but nowhere else.

 

 

I'm kind of at a loss as to where it still exists - I first thought it was only stuck on machines, so I deleted it from [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\GPExtensions\

- But that only stopped it processing, it didn't remove it...
