Mdleeds Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Hi all, Not sure if this is the right thread, but, does anyone use any desktop alerting software across their computer estate please? If so can you share your experiences of the product, pricing, and how well it works for sending instant desktop alerts across networks with 1000+ Windows devices, and even multiple geographical location networks. Thanks in advance
CHiLL Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 We use NetSupport Notify, which can send popup notifications to clients who have the agent installed. You can also give access to specific people to be able to send messages and install the console on their workstations. While not perfect, it does the job for us...though we only have it deployed to <200 workstations, which are all on the same physical site and network. 1

Hi, we recently started looking at alertus. We are getting quote around $6,000 a year plus a one off server licence fee. How did you manage to get this for free? Do you have an account manager that I can speak to?
Mdleeds Posted February 28, 2024 Author Posted February 28, 2024 We’re now using this, we managed to get the free version based on our student cohort. It’s actually very good considering the price. We went via Cameron Wohlgemuth. Thanks, Michael
