IT Technician - Bromley & Lewisham schools - Circa £25,000

We are a fast-growing I.T. support company for schools, across South East London, primarily in Lewisham, Bromley, Bexley and Kent. We are a small company but we’re expanding and increasing the number of schools we can assist. If you love technology and have a thirst for not only increasing your technical knowledge but assisting others in doing the same, then we want to hear from you.

 

We provide a variety of technology services to schools of all shapes and sizes, looking after anything from a single computer and printer right through to whole school structured cabling rewiring and computer suite installations.

 

In many of the schools that we work we are seen as an extension of school staff and so, not only are we looking for someone who is technologically minded but, it is essential that the right candidate can also talk "non techy" and interact with school staff and pupils alike.

 

We are currently recruiting for a technician to join our small but rapidly growing company.

 

Demonstrated field experience is required, with hands on experience essential.

 

You must have sound knowledge and experience in:

Windows Server and Active Directory

Windows Professional Clients

General networking

General computer hardware (repairs and maintenance)

A great customer care attitude

A personal need to learn and develop ones own knowledge

Own vehicle to travel (travel expenses will be paid for)

Google Workspace & Office 365 Environments

 

It would be a great advantage to have experience in:

Working within the Education sector/schools

Managing and/or deploying iOS devices

Installing and/or maintaining interactive technologies (boards and projectors)

Installing and/or maintaining audio visual equipment

You don’t have recent experience of Windows Server

Location: Client sites across Lewisham and Bromley
