discoveranother Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Hi all, I have a few laptops that arrived for a school. They are part of an academy trust. The laptops have Dellsafe Bios upon boot up. I've not seen this before. Anyone know how to boot from USB as seem to be unable to display the boot menu via F9 or even safe mode via F8. Thanks all
jmak Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 It's F12 for one time boot menu or F2 for BIOS setup on Dell machines. SafeBIOS is a BIOS verification system and it shouldn't stop you booting from USB or safe mode. If they're not be machines someone might have set a BIOS password - but that's a separate issue. 1
