Schools Google Workspace Tenant is an Enterprise one not an Education one

Hi all,

 

I have just come across a school that has a Google Workspace tenant with Chromebooks enrolled on it. Unfortunately whoever set it up setup an enterprise tenant instead of an Education one so now I cant manage or create any new accounts without coughing up some $$$.

 

Has anyone else been in this situation and if so how did you resolve it. I clicked on support but it was an automated chat with no answer to my question
