talksr Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 Hello, Can someone tell me where I am going wrong here? I have set a Device Powermanagement Profile in Configuration profiles within Devices in Intune Admin Center for my devices so that go to sleep when plugged in. I have verified that the profile has delivered as a success to all devices which is good. Here are the settings: Note the last one: 'Unattended Sleep Timeout Plugged In' is set to 0. If we see the Microsoft documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/client-management/mdm/policy-csp-Power?WT.mc_id=Portal-fx#unattendedsleeptimeoutpluggedin .... it sates that: If you specify 0 seconds, Windows doesn't automatically transition to sleep. However, the system seems to be going to sleep after around 15 mins. If I log into it and view the Power Options, this is what I am seeing: Any ideas on what is going wrong here?
Steve21 Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 The parts I have set in my "don't sleep while building" setup is System > Power Management > Video and Display Settings When plugged in, turn display off after (seconds) 0 Turn off the display (plugged in) Enabled System > Power Management > Sleep Settings Specify the system sleep timeout (plugged in) Enabled System Sleep Timeout (seconds): 0 Specify the system hibernate timeout (plugged in) Enabled System Hibernate Timeout (seconds): 0 (I also have the one you mentioned, but I think when I did this originally it didn't work so I set the other ones and left all enabled!)
