googlemad Posted July 7, 2008 Posted July 7, 2008 Hi, Trying to image some workstations using Zen imaging and the process is taking DAYS on SATA drives. As soon as we connect up a IDE drive, the imaging speeds along! Any tips? Zenworks 7...
Liam_uk Posted July 11, 2008 Posted July 11, 2008 When you get to the bash prompt type this in hdparm -d1 /dev/hda It turns DMA on and makes a huge difference in the time it takes to image a PC. Let me know how you get on
