6Foot2 Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 I meant to post this earlier, but events at home got in the way, a little. Anyway, today is the first equilux of the year when the hours of daylight and darkness are equal. This is slightly different from the equinox because there is daylight "leaking" over the horizon before sunrise and after sunset due to refraction, atmospheric effects, and other factors which may be in play locally. The summer equinox is Monday, the 20th of March at 9:24 pm (London) 2
southhamster Posted March 19, 2023 Posted March 19, 2023 I always think Vernal Equinox sounds like a steampunk gentleman of independent means and an enquiring mind. 3
