Equilux

I meant to post this earlier, but events at home got in the way, a little.

 

Anyway, today is the first equilux of the year when the hours of daylight and darkness are equal.

 

This is slightly different from the equinox because there is daylight "leaking" over the horizon before sunrise and after sunset due to refraction, atmospheric effects, and other factors which may be in play locally.

 

The summer equinox is Monday, the 20^th of March at 9:24 pm (London)
