simple question --- is it available to purchase in anyones home country yet?

 

He in Aus i cant get my dirty mitts on one for atleast another month according to ASUS. Yet on their site it seems to be retailing somewhere?

 

If anyone has one please leave some comments/thoughts. In particular i am interested in the battery life for either version of the 1000.
