Saadi_y Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Hi we have 50 users and one user has P1 license(ex Head of IT depaprtment ) . We want to re-allocate his license to specifically created user sothat license is not attached to any working accout. We have Azure ad connect working on our domain and MFA is configured on the office 365 accounts using Conditional access policy. Please advise if de-attaching Azure P1 license from current account and re-attaching it to another one will cause any issuesThanks in advance
Roberto Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 That will work fine but, if I remember correctly, you should have a P1 licence for each person using conditional access.
Cw2k Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 Azure p1 is a tenant level license, it doesn’t validate user count so adding one p1 license activates the p1 features for all users. It is your responsibility to fully license your users with p1 if you are using the p1 features to ensure you are in license compliance. As you are using conditional access that requires a p1 license for all users.
FN-GM Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 Remember that Microsoft can see a activities on cloud services. Piracy and improper licences can most probably be seen.
Saadi_y Posted January 30, 2023 Author Posted January 30, 2023 thank you for your help . I have informed my boss
