Nintendo Switch Online Renewal

My (ok, my kids) renewal is due tomorrow and I noticed last week that it was set to auto-renew, and at a silly rate of around £70.

Turning off auto-renew now gives me the option of getting it at £34.99 with the expansion pack. Just a heads-up as this is a new service and I know many on here had subscribed about this time last year and don't want you to be caught out.

And let's not mention Nintendo's awful online sevices that has you logging into many different areas (I opened three!). Seriously guys, just have one place eh? Everyone else seems to manage it!

I've found with Nintendo it's pretty much always beneficial to buy codes externally

You can buy 12 months for £17.42 direct from Nintendo on Amazon right now. Or £30.49 for the family pack (up to 8 'Nintendo accounts', not sure if that's over multiple Switches or not).

Interestingly, this caught my attention:

 

Any changes to your membership type or validity period must be made at least 48 hours prior to your automatic renewal date.

 

One to watch for that!

Well, what a pain. You can only renew once it actually runs out. I have an hour or so to wait now!
