OneNote - Insert PDF File Printout function.

OneNote Insert PDF File Printout function. When we clicks Insert > File Printout then selects the PDF, the laptop tries to open the PDF document, but doesn't then insert the text into text document. and gets stuck with the PDF open in Adobe reader and onenote loading progression bar

 

I have tried scrubbing the user, and deleting and re-installing OneNote.

 

Any ideas
