W11 Edu or W11 Pro Edu??

Hey all, been tasked to prepare our org for W11 so got the iso and installing to start investigating but have come across an unexpected question…Windows 11 Education or Windows 11 Pro Education?

 

Can’t find any meaningful explanation of what Pro Edu is or what the differences are between the two. Can anybody shed any light on this?

Edu = Ent

Pro Edu = Pro

 

In terms of non-edu editions

 

So basically if you have the licensing rights you’d want Edu normally

Edu is built from the Enterprise version of Windows, whereas Pro Edu is built from the consumer Pro version of Windows. Pro lacks some enterprise features that Edu contains. I'd recommend sticking with just Edu.

Only Microsoft would have the Pro version with less features than the standard one. Lol
