Google workspace setup for federated schools

I'm looking for guidance on how best to set up Google Workspace for 2 federated schools that want to share teaching and learning materials across both schools? Currently, each school has its own Google workspace but they would like to move to one. and I would like advice on how best to do this, preferably by utilising one of the existing workspaces. I guess I'm asking how you would setup a MAT, and then bring in a new school??
