Creating a Managed Microsoft Xbox Account

Hello,

 

When we try to create an Xbox account with one of our emails, We get the error message that you cannot use a work or school account.

 

The account we are using is created in our Google Domain, but not present in our Azure AD. I have also tried this with an email that was in both to the same result.

 

Am I missing something obvious or will we need to create a personal Microsoft account to use with this Xbox account?

I think it will be to do with the domain, not the specific email address. I have no knowledge but could there be a setting that will allow them to be used? Though you open the domain to be used by every pupil! Possibly setting up an enterprise app to allow nominated accounts?
