Students now visible to high schoolteachers after OU moved from one school to another

We have all of our students in separate OU's based on the year they will graduate. Every year, we simply move students from an Ou that is a sub OU of their school site. This year, we once again moved the OU for our last year 8th grade class to the high school. So the class of 2026 ou in the middle school was moved to the high school OU. The teachers at the high school cannot see or select any of these students for their google classroom. But any new to the school district student in that OU is visible to the high school teachers. All students are showing as active. How do I make these students visible in the high school OU?
