Hybrid School IT Manager – WFH ideally in M1 corridor - £40-43K

Global education group with large and increasingly inhouse IT service requires an Education experienced IT specialist to join the senior team.

 

Aside from a competitive and negotiable salary, you will primarily work from home but also regularly visit (virtually or on site if absolutely necessary) a group of 16 schools UK wide as well as a central office in Buckinghamshire all expenses paid. Up to 40 days leave, a good pension and potential to take some leave in term time this role would suit a current MAT or large school head of IT, network manager or service delivery manager looking to grow and develop their leadership and SLT skills.

 

This role is essentially responsible for getting better IT service into schools. Working with local and central IT support teams and being the primary contact for IT working alongside the school’s central operations manager.

 

You will be doing in-depth IT service reviews, championing business reviews, documenting process’, matching kpi’s to performance and facilitate raising the game and understanding of IT delivery generally. An ITIL advocate, you will have excellent communication and documentation skills, have IT management at your heart and understand education technology and its ultimate aims and objectives.

 

This role has influence and responsibility in a large global group.
