FN-GM Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 Hello, I upgraded Chrome (to Version 104.0.5112.79 (Official Build) (x86_64)) on Mac OS. Since then I am getting this error. I have tried clearing the cache and no luck. Any thoughts please? Thanks 1
6Foot2 Posted August 7, 2022 Posted August 7, 2022 I am using Version 104.0.5112.83 (Official Build) (64-bit) on a Chromebook. I don't see this problem. What happens if you use a different browser (Safari)
FN-GM Posted August 7, 2022 Author Posted August 7, 2022 Safari is perfectly fine. I also tried incognito and the issue is still present.

Also do you happen to use any addons that try to force https?
dmj Posted August 12, 2022 Posted August 12, 2022 All working again on my android, perhaps it was a cloudflare blip

kmount Posted August 13, 2022 Posted August 13, 2022 Same here when I was using Chrome on Android yesterday (Spain) and now fine today on same setup but back in UK. Maybe some localised CDN foo?

FN-GM Posted August 14, 2022 Author Posted August 14, 2022 Same here when I was using Chrome on Android yesterday (Spain) and now fine today on same setup but back in UK. Maybe some localised CDN foo? Based on this I decided to try again with a VPN connection to the UK. I still have a problem but it is behaving differently. I recorded the screen. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yypAtkWH5HckVYYebXAuCOX79UqkaeDl/view?usp=sharing 1
6Foot2 Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I have seen the "This page is insecure" page once, but without a VPN. When I refreshed, the message changed to "This page is secure" after it (Chrome?) had checked and tested the page/site.
Guest Guest Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 Hi everyone. I'm also getting this on Chrome (Version 104.0.5112.79 (Official Build) (x86_64)) (macOS Big Sur). Safari works fine. EDIT: I'm based in the UK (w/ no add-ons, VPNs or the like).

However, in the last 5 minutes it is now working. No changes to config/setup etc.
Guest Guest Posted August 14, 2022 Posted August 14, 2022 I'm also getting ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS when using Chrome on Android 13

NokiX Posted August 15, 2022 Posted August 15, 2022 I’m also getting this problem today, MacOS using Chrome.
FN-GM Posted August 18, 2022 Author Posted August 18, 2022 How are we getting on please? It's driving me up the wall! Thanks
dmj Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 How are we getting on please? It's driving me up the wall! Thanks Think of if it as nostalgia, like in 2005 when we had to use a different browser for every website.
Dos_Box Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 I'll get @ZeroHour to give you all an update as soon as he can.
ZeroHour Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 I have found a possible cause, looking for a workaround.
ZeroHour Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Right I have made a large amount of changes to see if it improves things. 2
ZeroHour Posted August 18, 2022 Posted August 18, 2022 Still doesn't work for me unfortunately. Can you fully close chrome and try again, its very erratic on my end which is making it much harder to test.
