Hi all,

We have decided to move to SCCM for easier deployment of programs and operating systems.

I have setup boundary’s and boundary groups etc but I get this error in software centre.

Please help!!

Just read that having the DP setup for prestaged content can cause this, is your DP setup this way?

At the bottom of the page, past the boundary stuff - you've probably already tried this: https://www.prajwaldesai.com/application-installation-error-0x87d00607/

"Update – I got this information via Reddit. I am adding this to the post so that it will help others. According to the user, the issue was with prestaged content being enabled on the distribution point. This was discovered by looking at the content status of the application. It revealed that distribution manager was waiting for prestaged content.

To fix this, go to the distribution point server properties. Click the General tab and uncheck the option Enable this distribution point for prestaged content. Click OK and redistribute the content and that should fix error 0x87D00607."

Just had a look and I’ve already got presaged content disabled

Anything good in the client sccm logs? C:\Windows\CCM\Logs

Nope nothing.

Can’t find anything out of the ordinary.

I do remember SCCM saying the server doesn’t have .net 3.5 installed?

content you're trying to install has been distributed to the DPs? :confused2:

Yep,

When I deployed the application I selected automatically deploy to the distribution point and then selected the dp I wanted to use too.

I’m using MECM 2203, maybe I should go back to 2103 where I have had it working before

Update:

I’ve checked monitoring on the deployment of Google Chrome which is the program im using to test and I get “Failed to locate content”

Does this mean anything?

Looks like your problem - anything in the logs?

Not on-site today so next week will go back to 2103 and hope for the best.

Thanks for your help

When I looked yesterday I didn’t find anything.
