[sims] Late Report by Year Group Daily - SIMS

I need to check the number of lates for each year group, each day for a period of time.

 

I.e from April to current day.

 

Im aware how to run the report on SIMS for each day individually, however wondered if anybody knows of a way to do so in its entirety.

 

Ideally i'd not want to have to run a report 40+ times.

Hi,

You can create a report showing Year, Date and Mark with a filter on mark to restrict it to 'L'. Use a pivot table to do the work and you should be mostly there. This video shows how to beat the dates into submission for use in the table - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ya10z2gfRB8. Then you just need to make sure any missing dates are sorted out and you should then have some numbers to play with.

If you are starting this from the new year and want to run it at the end of each week then you can use

 

 

the answer above was a way of running a whole years worth where you would design a report to show Late attendance marks with dates then use a pivot table to do the hard work.
