I have a user who is getting a weird issue. No other users who run reports from SIMS get this and all can enable macros to get the SIMS reports to open in Excel.

This user gets a warning message at the top of the screen when the report tries to open in Excel and other users get the same warning with the option to "Enable macros". This user gets "options" instead and there is no button to enable the macros. The user has the same GPO's applied as everyone else. Clicking on Options and the below message pops up about a Capita Certificate having expired in 2015!

Has anyone seen this and know what the issue could be?

Possibly not a SIMS issue as such (apart from the out of date Capita cert).

What has the user got in the Macro settings for Excel (and check the setting of an unaffected user)?

Is the user in a different OU that might have Macro settings pushed by GPO (there's a few)?

Same Office version etc...?
