StephenPink Posted May 13, 2022 Posted May 13, 2022 Hi all, Have inherited a Smoothwall - not done anything with these for a few years so a little rusty! Used to using PaloAlto, hoping someone can help translate what I know how to do on a Palo onto a Smoothwall... Need to create what would be a NAT rule on the Palo; - Source Zone: Internal - Source Address: InternalServerIP - Destination Zone: External - Destination Interface: ExternalInterface - Destination Address: ANY - Service: http/https - Translation Type: Static IP - Translated Address: ExternalServerIP - Bi-directional enabled So on the Smoothwall I've got a port forward setup, and a firewall rule as well. The logs show traffic coming in and being accepted but I think I've missed something? Can't remember how the Smoothwall Source NAT rules work? Have opened a ticket but thought it was worth an ask on here just in case it is something obvious! Thanks, Stephen
