fiza Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 I have raised a ticket about this but thought I would post it here in case someone can help quicker than Smoothwall Support take to respond. Is there a way to stop the Youtube Mobile App working through Smoothwall in School? Seems to be a loophole for us at the moment as students who join the school WiFi get filtered via Smoothwall for everything done through the browser but Youtube App seems to work regardless. Any way to stop it connecting when on the School WiFi?
ibpalle Posted April 26, 2022 Posted April 26, 2022 Try making sure QUIC is blocked at the firewall level - outgoing access to UDP ports 80 and 443. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QUIC 1
fiza Posted April 26, 2022 Author Posted April 26, 2022 Any steps you can provide for me to follow please?
