Essentially we use Classroom Cloud to monitor devices, and use the lock function. However, students have found that to remove the lock screen, all they need to do is close their lid and reopen it, and they have full access again. Presumable because as the lid is closed, the Chromebook goes to sleep, turning off the WiFi and disconnecting from Classroom Cloud. So, is there anyway of preventing managed Chromebooks from sleeping when the lid is closed? Or keeping the WiFi turned on?

Both seem possible, but either I can't find the right settings in Google Admin, or they don't exist.

Classroom cloud have a setting that prevents closing the lid from disconnecting from the session, so from that point of view it's resolved.

It would be nice to have the ability to change close lid behaviour in Google admin though!
