New UPS

I have 3 UPS systems in the Server Rack which are approx 10 years old - so time to replace them with something newer.

 

What is the best way to spec a UPS?

Generally two aspects is how many connections you need, and how long it needs to run for (as in all the equipment on it in terms of watts etc). Is this for a quick 5 min power blip? Or to power it for a whole day? Etc

 

Obviously there’s lots of extras you can get like network management, temperate sensor etc etc but at the base those are the two that really count

If/when you have VOIP worth thinking about how long you want your phone system to work, possibly just core functions with router, core switch a few central AP's, CCTV etc.
