We require an ICT Technician to provide a high standard of technical support throughout our busy and vibrant college. You will be the first point of contact for all IT issues, therefore technical and communication skills are a key element of this role. Other responsibilities include carrying out routine and ad-hoc network management tasks (including daily back-ups) network cabling and other housekeeping tasks – together with the configuration of new workstations, laptops, software installation and resolution of hardware faults.

 

The successful candidate will have experience of providing network, internet and software support to the workforce, particularly Microsoft Windows and Office products, which are essential elements of this role, together with an interest in future IT developments. We are looking for a team player with a proactive approach who has experience in supporting a busy workforce and can work independently as well as part of a team.

 

There may be times when an earlier or later start time is required, however the normal working hours are 8.30am until 4.30pm Monday – Thursday and 8.30am – 4pm Friday (including 30 minutes unpaid lunch break).
