Forwarding OWA traffic through RRAS Server

Hello all,

 

I have attached a picture explaining the current network setup.

Is there anyway of setting up the RRAS server so that people from outside the network are able to access the OWA server?

OR, is it going to be easier to setup and install ISA Server and publish the server?

In the console tree for RRAS, expand IP Routing...

 

Next, click NAT/Basic Firewall; your interfaces will be listed on the right

 

Right click on the WAN card > Properties

 

There is a tab called "Services and Ports"

 

From there, it's fairly straight forward...

EDIT: oh, and maybe mine's just finiky, but it usually requires me to restart RRAS for changes like this to take effect

No luck, it works as a port forwarder, but it needs to actually NAT the connection.

With port forwarding, I connect from mail.domain.co.za and it connects to the RRAS server no problem, but then tries to forward it onto 192.168.10.1, which isn't an external IP, if that makes any sense?

Thats unfortunate, I don't have a setup like yours available (I use ISA) so I can't mess with it myself. Are you able to post screen shots of your current port forwarding configuration? There may be a way of configuring it to do the NAT also.
