SSD not recognised and Legacy Boot

Hi all,

 

Since certain manufacturers removed Legacy Boot support, has anyone found an alternative to resolve unrecognised/unbootable SSD's? we want to swap an SSD with a built one into a new Lenovo Thinkcentre m60e, but the SSD is unrecognised. Usually we would just rebuild the OS on to the M.2 in the device but the amount of bespoke software on this disk, we'd rather not!

 

Any advice would be much obliged.

Try it on a test machine first or take an image of the SSD before, then have a look at MBR2GPT to convert the machine to GPT disk formatting and UEFI booting.
