GrumpyGeoff Posted November 24, 2021 Posted November 24, 2021 Our school currently has an on site AD and file servers but our county is on the route toward moving us to Hwb based logins and as much cloud based stuff as possible with Hwb managed Intune underpinning it. What I was wondering is, are any of you at schools where this is further along with this - e.g. Actually deploying using Intune, users logging in with Hwb and all user content being in the cloud?
mikes Posted October 4, 2023 Posted October 4, 2023 I know it's 2 years later but did you ever do this? We have a mess of google, Windows, HWB etc and were wondering if it would be easier to move over to Hwb.
PotNoodleTech Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 They havent logged in for 6+ months but I would like to know too. My main concern with HWB is the lack of control - I can't even rename an organisational unit in google let alone do anything actually useful. What control do we have about data protection/data retention / backups / etc / etc We are fed up here of having 5 different accounts so moving entirely to HWB could be beneficial.
welshman Posted October 5, 2023 Posted October 5, 2023 I have heard rumour that our LEA is in the testing phase of rolling out Microsoft Intune using the Hwb platform.
