Managed Chromebooks asking to set password to protect local data

Hi All,

 

My Managed Chromebooks use FS to sign into the chromebooks and use Connect Chromebook (Smoothwall) while off site. After the user signs into the FS it now asks the user to create a password to "protect your local data". How do I stop this from happening so they can just sign straight in...What's gone wrong?

 

Chromebooks are not my strong point so stabbing away in the dark here!

Did you ever find out why this was happening? We've got the same thing - I spoke to Google and they reckon it's our AD applying the policy, so users who sign into devices with their school account need to password protect it.
