[sims] Class groups and particular subjects

Hi,

 

New to the forums!

 

To make my life easier, is there a way that I can put together an excel sheet exported from SIMS telling me when a class group (like a tutor group) has particular subjects on a day? This need to be easy to read quickly.

 

I could just look at their timetables; I know. But, it would be good to be able to see the information quickly.

 

Any suggestions welcome.

You can use Reports > Student List > Registration Group List and pick a group (or multiple). Then when the list appears, on the right hand side dropdown menus choose Academic, and Timetable. Then you drag 'All periods' into your list to make an excel friendly timetable for the group. You can then save this and use it again whenever you need it. Choose 'General Student List' rather than 'Registration Group List' if you want an adhoc group (like Pupil Premium or SEND etc.) - it works the same way.

 

We don't use SIMS any more, so this assumes it is still the same - but its SIMS so it probably is.
