mdrabble Posted June 9, 2021 Posted June 9, 2021 Had a compromised student account - this student has been compromised twice, so going to have a gentle talk to her this morning. Any downsides to enabling Geo-blocking all countries except the UK with Azure and Office 365? Cheers

Cheers The only issue we have is people on holiday, or when using privately paid for VPNs (Nord for example) the argument is why would you need emails while on holiday, however for things like safeguarding that always seems to be the trump card We compromised with MFA and geoblocking for confirmed breach locations.
synaesthesia Posted June 9, 2021 Posted June 9, 2021 We've gone for geoblocking known "bad actor" countries such as brazil, china, venezuala etc. One false positive in circa 8 years.
mdrabble Posted June 9, 2021 Author Posted June 9, 2021 Was thinking of enabling Geo-Blocking for Students as from September staff will be using MFA
