Disable Mapped Shares Message

Hi all,

 

Have a Macbook which has mapped drives to a Windows Server. When the user takes the Macbook home they get a message popping up on screen that they cannot connect to the server (because they are away from the work premises). My assumption is this relates to the mapped drives. Is there any way to disable this message ?

How are you mapping the drives? Is this a launch agent/login item in System Prefs or is this managed by an MDM such as Jamf or Profile Manager?
