Sheridan Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 One of our net2 Nanos just randomly stopped logging any events today. Its connected to an airbridge and we've rebooted both several times, and the lock seems to work as normal but no events are logged in the Net2 software, it shows up as online and up to date and generally everything seems to be normal. The airbridge also has another lock bound to it and that is logging events, and all the other doors in the school are logging events as well so it looks like its just one door not logging events Anyone seen this kind of problem before?
robyholmes Posted February 11, 2021 Posted February 11, 2021 I don't have any Net2 Nano's but if you go to your doors view, select that 'Door', do you see a 'Reinstate' button at the bottom? That forces it to reconfigure the door and I've found that can solve events not being sent back.

That had some effect, it logged that it had been reinstated and reset, but logs nothing else such as fob activity. Very odd.

So it's still not sending back events, or it didn't send back the old events. When I do this on the Net2 Plus controllers we have they normally send back old events, but I guest a Nano might not have enough onboard storage so it hasn't kept the old logs? Paxton support are normally amazing so if your still stuck, give them a call.
Sheridan Posted February 11, 2021 Author Posted February 11, 2021 Its odd as it simply stopped logging events today, apart from the reset events from the reinstate I did I might try deleting it and then seeing if it reappears in the list of ACUs
Sheridan Posted February 12, 2021 Author Posted February 12, 2021 Well deleting the ACU, and scanning to add it back in seems to have worked. As soon as Net2 saw the ACU again it started logging events as normal. Odd, but not a difficult fix.
