Change domain of SIMS Server

We are building a fresh domain and need to move SIMS. Can we just rejoin the sims server to the new domain or is it embedded in sims database somewhere preventing us doing this

 

Really don’t want to pay capital to do this!!

Yes pretty much, I did this many years ago when I first joined the school. Not sure about Solus though.

It should continue to work. However, please note that if you change the server name you will need to configure the Docstore server. Also, if you change IP address and your connect.Ini file references and IP rather than server name, you’ll need to change that too. Other than that there shouldn’t be any problems.
