mrstrong Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 if people send email to a shared mailbox is it possible to automate processing of such emails in office 365 e.g. extract data from the email and auto update a spreadsheet with lets say columns timestamp, from, subject, body thinking this could be used for e.g. [email protected] with a subject of "positive" or "negative"
clareq Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 I've used Power Automate to do something similar - this one might do what you want: https://emea.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/galleries/public/templates/8ab82b294cab492088ead83405640963/track-emails-in-an-excel-online-business-spreadsheet/ 1
mrstrong Posted January 25, 2021 Author Posted January 25, 2021 That looks interesting (power automate) thanks
clareq Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 Power automate is great once you get your head around it. I've got it doing all sorts of things - forms workflows that I used to use Sharepoint designer for, automatic emails from forms, so parents can fill in a form and the results be sent to a member of staff, forwarding emails to SMT out of hours only, that sort of thing. 1
