discoveranother Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 Hi all, Just a question regarding which version of Windows 10 most engineers out there use for school pupils or even staff ? I'm looking for a version really with built-in bloatware apps removed and have a cleaner version of Windows 10. Would I be correct to say that if apps are updated via Windows update before sysprepping if causes issues ? I have heard this somewhere. Thanks all
mikemcsharry Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 I'd say that if budget and facilities permit, install SCCM. Then you can make very precise copies of the versions of Windows you want. Also, ensure you use one of the Autumn release (eg 1909) rather than a spring one (eg 2004), as they are supported for a longer time

This only applies if you are using Education and Enterprise https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-information/
