robyholmes Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 Our teaching staff are finding that some machines allow you to press Windows Key+Shift+S to take a snip using Sketch & Snip but other machines aren't. Sketch and Snip will open on machines which don't work and it shows the keyboard shortcut when you open it. But it doesn't work? Staff have also tried going to in Settings and setting PrintScreen to load Sketch & Snip but that doesn't work either. Anyone found this? I'm drawing a blank online. Thanks, Rob
robyholmes Posted November 19, 2020 Author Posted November 19, 2020 Does it work from a Snip & Sketch shortcut? I'm just going to check that, however the program does open from Snipping Tool which staff are currently loading, and then clicking on the 'Try Snip & Sketch' (I got the name wrong way round in the title of this thread, doh)
robyholmes Posted November 19, 2020 Author Posted November 19, 2020 Does it work from a Snip & Sketch shortcut? Searching start menu for Snip & Sketch doesn't return anything but Snipping Tool. So that looks to be the issue! Have you found the same?
6Foot2 Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 Snip & Sketch works for me. Which Windows build/version are you working on? Suggestion: Link: Snip & Sketch tool not working [Microsoft Community]

Suggestion: Link: Snip & Sketch tool not working [Microsoft Community] I wonder if the shortcuts don't work when it's installed per user, but if I ran that install for all users it might start working. That's todays job. EDIT: Forgot to add, Build 2004 Education
