Competitive benefits package This is an opportunity for a customer focused professional with a basic technical understanding of ICT systems to join an ambitious school looking to put itself at the forefront of educational technology. You will be joining a friendly and collaborative IT Support Team who are responsible for the day-to-day running of the school network, assisting with staff and student requests to support teaching and learning. The team are also responsible for the technical setups required for many of the school events. As an ICT Technician, you will be accountable to the ICT Operations Manager and assist the Senior ICT Technician with: · Providing technical support for school ICT systems · Providing network services to meet school requirements · Installing, setting up, upgrading and maintaining ICT equipment, including printers, monitors, computers, scanners · Recommending and implementing technical changes and improvements as discussed with the IT Manager and Senior ICT Technician · Supporting academic staff using ICT equipment in classroom activities · Supporting staff using ICT facilities · Supporting the provision of ICT training for all staff · Carrying out ICT equipment repairs within specified limits If you have an understanding of the latest trends in ICT, a minimum A-Level/ GNVQ level qualification, and experience of diagnosing, resolving and implementing IT solutions with a variety of operating systems we would be delighted to hear from you.
