Tools for coding

Good day,

 

I need to prepare a template/scheme for an HTML code. Basically a document with a coded website that is going to be used for training purposes. I was looking at the tools that would be available for everyone and easy to obtain, and free. I am very fond of Notepad++ as it can be used for both coding and making notes. The idea of having separate tabs is awesome. But there is also a program called Atom which seems to be prepared for coding specifically. I am unsure what to pick. Notepad++ or Atom or it doesn't matter and it can be whatever I find easier to use? Thank you.

For HTML? Adobe Brackets, with handy msi installer/chocolatey package! And live preview if you don't save to a network drive
