Bare Metal Recovery and Windows Server Backup

Hey All,

 

So I had a scare last week with the server and had to restore a bare metal backup.

 

In the end I scrapped it and rebuilt, but that's not important - what is though is the bare metal restored everything, except installed programs.

 

They were there, but were blanks on control panel and had that broken MSI box pop-up when you did anything with them.

 

Below are my backup commands, do I need to alter something to capture programs too?

 

The VM servers are happy, but they are just called back from the VM

START BACKUP -backuptarget:\\*SERVER*\*FOLDER*\ -include:c: -allcritical -vssfull -quiet

 

START BACKUP -backuptarget:\\*SERVER*\*FOLDER*\ -include:c:,d: -allcritical -vssfull -quiet
