Viglen PCs ( 23+ and 24+ serials) the power connection to DVD is melting - burning

Hello all,

A heads-up as we had a few incidents with them ones, melting down- burning in the DVD power supply, and triggering the fire alarm.

The faulty cable is a power and Sata combo.

Initially only the 23+ and now another with 24+ serial.

Their models probably are:

VIG645M

VIG646M

VIG647M

As we haven't replaced them all as yet, a quick proactive solution is to remove the combo cable that connects the DVD player.

If the DVD is still needed you will need new power and Sata cables.

....and possibly a new school as well if it burns the place down!

Are Viglen aware of this as it could be pretty serious, as well as a time waster?
